Join the Science Fair Volunteer Team!!!

We’re excited you’re here!

Please review our volunteer opportunities and fill out the form below with your availability and we will be in touch soon.

VOLUNTEER ROLES

(2 - 4 hour shifts available):

  • Information Booth & Data Collectors: Greet Science Fair attendees, scan event tickets, and encourage them to donate, and sign up for the newsletter.

  • Parking & Traffic Tamers: Help manage the flow of cars coming into the King County Parking lot, direct them to alternate parking options if lot is full, and mostly keep designated areas, including ADA spots, and throughways free from congestion.

  • Grounds Keepers & Chaos Coordinators: Explore the fairgrounds as a way-finder and guide—answering questions, monitoring safety, and lending a hand wherever "unexpected possibilities" arise. As this is our longest shift, we want to make sure you’re taken care of: your day includes a free meal (food truck) and beverages to keep you fueled. Please note that being a steward of the grounds also includes light housekeeping and waste management as needed to keep the fair running smoothly.

    Volunteer Perks:

Cold beverages & light snacks provided

Free lunch and/or dinner stipend for food trucks (4+ hour shifts)

Free beer after your shift (for ages 21+)
